Italy and Greece
Our month in Africa was unforgettable and now we spend a few weeks in Europe. Five days in Rome by ourselves to explore followed by a Cosmos tour of Italy and Greece, then Netherlands, Switzerland, France and home.
Netherlands
We had a fantastic time in Amsterdam, touring the countryside and enjoying this vibrant city of Amsterdam. Our apartment is a five minute walk to the city centre,
Switzerland
Switzerland is a picture postcard in every direction. We were blessed with mostly fine weather for our train journeys and stays in Lucerne, Interlaken and Montreaux.
France
Switzerland was marvellous, and France was icing on the cake. We had a marvellous week with Fiona and Don on the River Vilaine and a number of smaller rivers and canals on Le Boat that we hired, along with bicycles. A truly sensational week, followed by a glorious week in Paris where we stayed on Ile de Paris.
