We are embarking on a shortish road trip to Brisbane where we will visit our grandson Casper. And his mother, Fiona our daughter. Oh, and Don, our son-in-law. We will be housesitting for the people we house-sat for last December-January, and they seem happy enough to trust our stewardship again, and content to overlook the odd breakage and water-logged garage-door controller!
We will a leisurely eight days to get there, trying a slightly different route and some new towns and experiences along the way. It has been several months since we have attempted a trip so we feel a little rusty. Our journey will take us to Wangi Wangi, Gloucester (with a side-dish of Barrington Topping, Walcha, Armidale, Mann River, Casino and Brisbane. In contrast, our return will be less than half the time.
