Over the years I have journaled our travels with stories of our travels, and I have enjoyed this aspect of keeping our memories alive and possible of interest to family and friends. Hence this website.

This year I thought about capturing the memory with some sketches. Now this is very new to me, and as I look at them a few weeks after our journey down to South Australia, Kangaroo Island, the Riverland of SA and then a quick dash to Sydney to see our friends from Japan, Machiko and Satoshi and their family, I feel a little embarrassed at their limitations.

My sketches don’t attempt to capture every place, and some places are not captured at all. Maybe I will write it up as well.

Please be forgiving of my sketches. It is very new and I am trying to learn the craft. These images, even allowing for the loose sketching style I am using are a bit rough and each one has a significant problem of some sort or another. But hopefully, over time, we will see some improvement.
