Over the years I have journaled our travels with stories of our travels, and I have enjoyed this aspect of keeping our memories alive and possible of interest to family and friends. Hence this website.
This year I thought about capturing the memory with some sketches. Now this is very new to me, and as I look at them a few weeks after our journey down to South Australia, Kangaroo Island, the Riverland of SA and then a quick dash to Sydney to see our friends from Japan, Machiko and Satoshi and their family.
My sketches don’t attempt to capture every place, and some places are not captured at all. Maybe I will write it up as well.
Please be forgiving of my sketches. It is very new and I am trying to learn the craft. These images, even allowing for the loose sketching style I am using are a bit rough and each one has a significant problem of some sort or another. But hopefully, over time, we will see some improvement.
