2017 was a very busy year for us with many highlights. We had a couple of motorhome trips – first to the South Coast, and then up to Brisbane for Casper’s birthday. But in April we visited the Caravan and Motorhome Show at Rosehill in Sydney expecting to lash out on some barbecue tools, and somehow ended up signing on the dotted line for a brand new motorhome! And the barbecue tools. We had no sooner taken delivery than we were off to Brisbane again, this time for Fiona’s and Don’s wedding at Sunshine Beach on the Sunny Coast.
We flew back from Brisbane on 2 June just in time to pack for our USA-Canada trip, flying out of Sydney on 7 June and arriving home on 14 July. This left us a few short weeks to get the van registered and prepped for our motorhome trip through Central Australia starting on 14 August and finishing on 24 September.
